Fillings

Dental fillings are one of the most common procedures in the industry. So much so that many people associate fillings with the flashy, silver amalgam that may contain mercury. If decay has set in, don’t worry. We’re a completely mercury-free office, and we use only tooth-colored composite resin for all our dental fillings. Getting a filling is relatively simple, as we first remove the affected area of the tooth and replace it with the resin. Once cured, the filling is durable and barely noticeable, especially if on the back teeth. You’ll resume full functionality of your teeth. We may recommend replacement of amalgam fillings, as the metal can expand and crack with age, leaving your teeth vulnerable to new decay. Ask us how composite fillings can benefit your smile.

Porcelain Inlays & Onlays

If you have experienced moderate decay, or your tooth can’t support a traditional dental filling, we may recommend porcelain inlay or onlay restorations. These restorations can strengthen the structural integrity of the tooth, and in many cases don’t require additional support from a dental crown. An inlay sits on top of the interior biting area of the tooth, up to the cusps. Onlays extend over the cusps, to the exterior surface of the tooth. We use high-quality porcelain resin which matches the natural shade of your teeth, rendering the restoration almost undetectable.

Dental Crowns

Custom-made dental crowns are like little “caps” that fit over the existing tooth structure and have a variety of restorative uses. From supporting weakened teeth to restoring dental implants, our dental crowns are crafted from the highest-quality materials and matched to the shade of your natural teeth for a seamless blend. Using our iTero Digital Scanner, we take 3D impressions of your teeth and gumline for the most accurate fit without the goopy materials. Our crowns are either porcelain-fused-to-metal or completely metal-free, depending on your individual needs, and can be available in as little as a week. Crowns help your teeth regain functionality and complete your smile with a natural aesthetic. We also rely on dental crowns to act as anchors for bridge replacements.

Dental Bridges

If you’re missing a single tooth or a series of teeth, dental bridges are just one replacement option we offer. Anchored by two crowns, a dental bridge fills in the gap left behind by lost teeth with a customized prosthetic. Dental bridges are permanently fixed in place, so unlike dentures, you don’t have to worry about them coming out. Our bridges are either metal-free or crafted of porcelain-fused-to-metal, depending on which suits your situation best. We ensure the prosthetics blend with your existing teeth, and that the entire restoration appears natural and seamless. The only thing anyone will notice is your beautiful, complete smile.

Partials

Patients who have lost a few teeth but still have some healthy teeth left may opt for partial dentures to complete their smile. Unlike a dental bridge, these prosthetics are removable, held in place by metal clasps attached to your natural teeth. We’ll customize your partials to ensure a natural match to your existing smile. You deserve a smile that’s full of beautiful, natural-looking teeth. Partials can help you achieve it.

Dentures

Once you’ve lost a full arch of teeth, either upper or lower, you may wish to replace your missing teeth with a full set of dentures. Held in place by natural suction or adhesive, dentures restore your smile and facial aesthetics. We’ll fit you for the perfect set and ensure comfort and security in your new prosthetic teeth. Your smile will look natural and amazing, and you’ll get your confidence back. Don’t go another day without a complete smile. For an even more secure fit, ask us about implant-retained dentures.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth can wreak havoc on your oral health. From leaving your jaw susceptible to deterioration to allowing your healthy teeth space to shift, missing teeth are more than just aesthetic. We offer dental implants, the closest replacement option to your natural tooth structure. After surgically implanting a screw-like abutment into your jaw bone, we’ll restore your implant with a custom-made dental crown. We also offer implant-retained dentures and All-on-4 dental implants. Endodontics

Endodontic therapy, commonly known as a root canal, has gotten a bad reputation. Endodontics from Broomfield Family Dentistry will change that. Gentle and effective, we’ll remove infected, diseased pulp, which is most likely causing you pain, and restore complete functionality to your smile. We perform simple anterior and premolar endodontic in-house, along with more advanced therapy, such as molar and retreats. Take the stigma out of root canals and experience endodontic therapy that puts patient comfort first. Don’t hesitate to ask us if you have any questions about your procedure.
